My 2 teenage sons and I stayed for 3 nights in July 2010. Antonello made our stay. I had my wallet stolen in Rome so i had to deal with this when I arrived in Florence. Antonello went above and beyond to help me get a new credit card delivered and to pick up a wire transfer. His assistance saved me a huge amount of time and frustration. Thank you. He was also flexible with check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very centrally located, away from the tourist hordes, yet within walking distance to the Florence railway station and major sights. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with a/c, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. The three of us had more than enough room to spread out and relax. Antonello makes this place special and he is the main reason I have no hesitation recommending others to stay at Route Apartment.

A lovely apartment - a quick walk to almost any site in Florence, but by far the best part about our stay is the friendly and helpful family that was our contact while here. We had two problems (Couldn't get the key to work and a fuse blew in the apartment) and both times the problem was taken care of very promptly and with kindness. Traveling can be stressful, but we were well taken care of in this rental property.

This apartment is tiny but centrally located with great a/c and quite affordable. Full stove but only a toaster oven for cooking, (and no microwave). Still- its location is prime- easy to get everywhere. Stairs are long and steep but easy enough to negotiate with our carry-on luggage. I wouldn't have called it bright new furniture, but still- we loved our stay. Easy to find and the owner met us there on the spot. I totally recommend this for budget stays. Tiny TV, (kids report only 4 stations-but we don't speak Italian so I don't see that it matters) No DVD player, but we found the one in Venice didn't play American DVDs so it didn't matter)

My husband and I, along with our 20-yr old daughter and friend, stayed in the Ruote apartment for 6 days in June 2010. I was a little bit nervous because I had never rented an apartment over the internet and it was a fantastic experience. Mr. Iannella was a terrific host; he was easy to contact by cell phone, met us exactly at the arranged time, and gave us helpful information about local parking, dining, and shops. The apartment was very nice; clean, spacious, and had lots of nice amenties, including good air conditioning, washing machine, and dishwasher. The beds were comfortable, even the sleeper sofa in the living room. The location was great; we walked everywhere easily - Accademia, Uffidzi, Duomo, Pitti palace. We called a cab one evening for transportation for dinner at Villa San Michelle in Fiesole - the cab knew the apt location, arrived in just a few minutes, and easily brought us home again. This was our first trip to Florence and we will absolutely return to the Ruote apt on our next trip. Thanks for everything Antonello!

Spent one week there June 19-26, 2010. Perseo apartment is fantastic in all regards!. Wonderful week to be in Florence - many events - most outside the front window of the apartment. The Piazza Della Signore is a happening place (until about 1 AM each day). If you want to be in the middle of everything in Florence old town - this is the place for you. Spacious for 8, ample room to meet together and talk, eat or share daily adventures. Highly recommended!!! No parking so plan your car excursions for a same day pick up or drop off. There are lots where from 8PM to 8AM it is only 2.5 Euro. That may help.

Round the corner is the Via dei negri which has corner stores for all your everyday needs and caffe bars every few yards for those essential shots of coffee. I really enjoyed my stay in apt De Castellani.

We stayed in the Garden Zenobi apartment for a week and loved it. The interior is lovely. It was nice having the option of having coffee and eating breakfast there every morning and cooking dinner if we wanted to. It is very close to everything, close enough that if we were out shopping we could easily drop off our packages and go back out. I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning on visiting Florence.

I was lucky enough to stay at Ruote apartment for a semester while I worked and studied abroad in Florence and I must say, from everyone I know, I got the best deal. This apartment is fabulous! As is Antonello. But the apartment really does have everything you could want. It is beautifully decorated, has plenty of open space to enjoy spending time with people and gives you place to spread out. The bathroom is amazing, it is quite large given it is in Italy and it is in the city center. It was amazing, truly. The neighborhood is great, not far at all from anything, but still offset enough that it is quiet and undisturbed by many tourists. Thank you Antonello for such a luxurious place to stay and being so wonderfully helpful. It was fantastic!

I stayed at this lovely apartment the last week of March 2010. It was a perfect location. We walked everywhere. The rooms were large and well furnished. I have one complaint and that is about the noise at the back of the apartment. The Pizza place and the Bar across the street at night were so loud that none of us could sleep in the back three bedrooms. I closed the window, used earplugs and finally used a sleeping pill and nothing worked. The people were partying until 5am OUTSIDE on Thursday night. The noise did not ruin our trip, nothing could but none of us would stay at this apartment again. It's a shame because other than the noise it was perfect.

The Roma apartment was beautifully situated, adjacent to the Savoy Hotel in Piazza della Republica, and the area always felt vibrant yet safe. The owner, Irene, was extremely accommodating. The apartment was recently renovated, tastefully decorated, with every comfort, within reach of a variety of bars, restaurants and, of course, with every major attraction nearby. This was one of the best holidays we have had. Florence is a \'walkable\' city and the location of the apartment was perfect. Can\'t wait to return.

Being centrally located was a benefit for me as I was taking the 14C bus to Careggi everyday. It also provided me easy access to all the museums and sites of Florence. I was able to get some shopping done, both at the retail stores and with the street vendors. I will mention to my friends and aquaintances that wish to come to Florence about the apartment and give them your contact information. I just wanted to say 'thank you' and I hope the arrangements worked for you as well. I will leave the keys on the table as you requested. I did change the sheets on the bed once and I changed out the towels as well after the first week. Ciao, David

We enjoyed staying at the Costa apartment. It was just as it appeared in the photographs, very roomy with an up-to-date kitchen, bath and laundry room. The owners were very helpful and made time to bring us a key when we had locked ourselves out of the apartment. I would recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Florence, as long as you are prepared to walk up a steep street and up the stairs to the apartment. We had no difficulty doing this and enjoyed living for a week on the same street where Galileo lived.

The only negative - we couldn't get the stove to work but there were plenty of good restaurants nearby so wasn't a huge problem. Cristina and family were very helpful in finding a nearby apartment at short notice for our friends which was great. Highly recommend Classic apartment for anyone looking for a good location in Florence.

We too recommend this wonderful apartment! It provided a great home base from which to explore Florence. It is close to a supermarket, and, better yet, the big public market - where you can get all ingredients for having great Italian food 'at home.' The apartment has wood floors and cotton/synthetic bedding, which made it very comfortable for someone with allergies to dust / wool / feathers. The air conditioning unit was a good standby for those few hot July days when the temperatures went through the roof. We highly recommend this apartment!

The Ruote apartment is really a wonderful base from which to explore Florence! It is cosy, comfortable and - for those with allergies- clean! The apartment has wood / tile floors and synthetic bedding, which made the stay for someone allergic to dust/wool/feathers very comfortable. We stayed in this perfectly located apartment in Florence (Ruote apartment) with friends for one week over the summer, and had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious for 5 people (1 sleeping couch in the living room; two bed rooms), and has all the amenities we needed: kitchen, washing machine, iron, and a wonderful bathroom. The interior feels a bit like an artist's/architects studio! One can walk to the city centre within 5-10 minutes, walking through a quiet, old part of the city. Stores and restaurants are close by, as are internet cafes and 'real' cafes. We recommend the apartment to any group (up to 3 couples), who would like have a great, quiet, private starting place for exploring the city. My husband and I just returned from a week-long stay in the Zanobi apartment. We found the apartment to be perfectly sized for a couple - there is a nice sized bedroom, bathroom and big closet. Everything is nice in the apartment and it is so nice to come "home" after a long day of siteseeing. It was especially nice to have the owner, Barbara, next door in the building. You feel more comfortable just knowing she is nearby and she can help with minor difficulties like getting a cab at 5:45 am (like us). The apartment is also in the perfect location for day-trips to/from the train station. Especially nice if you are arriving late at night from Cinque Terre like we did. The area is safe but very quiet after midnight which can make it feel a little isolated. My only critique would be to make sure you bring a travel clock/alarm clock because there is not one in the apartment. ENJOY YOUR TIME IN FLORECE!

We met Angela and her husband right on schedule and they welcomed us with a lovely gift basket and a tour of their apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy throughout. It was also perfectly located. We were able to walk to all the major sites on both the north and south sides of the Arno within minutes. Restaurants, markets, taxi stands, tour meeting points, and shopping were all within a few minutes as well. Angela was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely consider returning to Lilium when we return to Florence. The Antonino apartment was AMAZING. After traveling on a hotel train the previous night, we were excited to walk into an apartment that had more than what we needed. The apartment was HUGE. We were so thankful to have the portable air conditioner in the room. We would have been sweating without it. The bathroom was huge! and the shower was big as well (which we were happy about because the one in Paris was tiny). The bedroom was big and airy. We loved having a kitchen where we could cook dinner, and having a fridge/freezer was wonderful because we could freeze our water overnight. That way we could have extra cold water for our tour in Florence. It's aobut a 2 minute walk (literally) to the Santa Maria Novella train station, a 5 minute walk to Il Duomo, and 10-15 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, Ufizzi Gallery, and Boboli Gardens. 10 minute walk to Academia Gallery to see the David. We couldn't have picked a better apartment to stay at. Thank you Francesco!!

The only thing I'd mention is the stairs. They are very steep, however the apartment is worth it. Very centrally located with taxi rank in the piazza at the bottom of the street.

We met Paola right on time and she was very helpful with a few local suggestions. We particularly liked the fact that it was a newer apartment and appreciated the modern facilities. What was presented on the web site (photos/description) was honest and accurate.The best feature is obviously the balcony and that fantastic view. Rear bedroom also with a view and very quiet for sleeping. Plenty of space. Great location close to station and bus (Sita) and easy walking to the sites. Plenty of shops for supplies and for those wanting to rent cars the 2 rental car services below is ideal. Compared to what we rented in Rome and Sorrento, Maso Apartment was very good value for money. The neighborhood is quiet and not in the heart of the touristy crush, but still very close to everything a visitor would want to see. There's a supermarket practically across the street and a playground not too far away, so this apartment works well for a family that is cooking at home and wants easy access to green spaces for kids to run around. My daughter especially loved the nearby Rose Garden and the pond filled with turtles.

Complimentary bottle of wine, croissants, etc an unexpected delight. We toured all three apartments and I would love to stay in all of them! All very elegant and true to expectations. I slept with the baby in the bedroom (Barbara provided a cot free of charge!), and my mother slept in the lounge. The lounge room couch becomes a single bed which is really really comfortable. Barbara was lovely and I would definitely recommend this apartment to others. One extra plus is the numerous guide books and tourist info available which helps you enjoy Florence just that bit more.

My partner and I stayed in Brunelleschi apartment for two weeks over Christmas and New Year, and found it ideal. It's extremely comfortable, has every amenity, and is in a really lovely part of Florence, the Oltrarno 'artisan' area, which has a character all of its own while still being a stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio and the rest of Florence's numerous attractions. The only thing I'd mention is that if you are not fit, or find stairs a problem, this apartment might not be for you as it's seven flights up. Apart from that, it's great!

We spent 12 nights in the Costa apartment and we absolutely loved it there. Nothing was missing and it was very nice to be in this large one room apartment (bathroom and utility room are of course separate) with the gorgeous florentine "cotto" floor , the stone wall, the beamed ceiling and the very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very beautiful, too. For some people the 5 minute walk uphill to get to the house might be a little much but it was no problem for us. The Costa San Giorgio is an amazing example of a real ancient Florentine street and the house is within walking distance from the Ponte Vecchio, Via Giucciardini, Palazzo Pitto, the Boboli Garden, the Natural History Museum "La Specola" and the whole historic centre in general. At the end of Via Guicciardini (Ponte Vecchio side) there is a very good baker's shop which also sells good Pizza. Several Trattorie and Ristoranti are in the area. The Brunelleschi apartment was wonderful--convenient, well-decorated, comfortable and affordable. A little noisy in the evenings (college students gathered at San Spirito Church) right behind the apartment but that was only a small drawback. Helpful orientation and love welcome basket provided by the owners upon arrival. You won't be disappointed!

I was so happy to find the Antonino apartment. It was so convinent as the San Lorenzo Market was right outside our door and a two minute walk to the Duomo.
