The Faenza apartment was cosy, characterful and tastefully furnished. It was close to San Lorenzo and very convenient altogether. The week before our stay, Barbara found that road works in the street outside were to take longer than expected ... we were impressed by her handling of the situation, informing us promptly and being flexible and suggesting solutions so that we felt that we were well-treated. I would recommend Florence & Tuscany because of this: our stay was comfortable and enjoyable and it was relaxing to feel that we would be fairly treated if any problem were to arise.

The Ruote apartment was a great place to stay during our trip to Florence. We brought our 2 year old and sister and there was plenty of room for everyone. The apartment is within a block of a grocery store, pizza shop, cafe, fruit vendor, and vegetarian restaurant. This made it easy to eat in or go out. It is a short 15 minute walk to the city center but away from all the traffic and noise. It was a great place to stay with kids!

I can't give enough wonderful comments about this apartment and Cristina and husband. We were booked into the smaller Eros apartment but we had another travelling companion and were put into the larger Zeus apartment . The apartment faced Via Cavour a balcony and corner windows in the bedroom. Everything brand new, Cristina must be an interior designer! Great beds, clean crisp linens. Complimentary bottle of wine, croissants, etc an unexpected delight. We toured all three apartments and I would love to stay in all of them! All very elegant and true to expectations. I felt like royalty!Great location, 5 minute walk to Duomo, central to all sights, markets across the street and around the corner. An internet stop on the ground floor with a very congenial owner. Good luck and many blessings to Cristina and her hubby in this new venture. All their hard work will pay off and they truly have bought joy to travellers! I will be back and anyone I know who goes to Florence will be staying in your great apartments.

Myself, my mother and my baby (3 months) stayed in the Zanobi apartment for 5 days in mid Jan 08. The apartment was great. I slept with the baby in the bedroom (Barbara provided a cot free of charge!), and my mother slept in the lounge. The lounge room couch becomes a single bed which is really really comfortable. Barbara was lovely and I would definitely recommend this apartment to others. One extra plus is the numerous guide books and tourist info available which helps you enjoy Florence just that bit more.

My partner and I stayed in Brunelleschi apartment for two weeks over Christmas and New Year, and found it ideal. It's extremely comfortable, has every amenity, and is in a really lovely part of Florence, the Oltrarno 'artisan' area, which has a character all of its own while still being a stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio and the rest of Florence's numerous attractions. The only thing I'd mention is that if you are not fit, or find stairs a problem, this apartment might not be for you as it's seven flights up. Apart from that, it's great!

We loved the Ruote apartment and would stay here again! Our plane was delayed but the owner met us there when we arrived late and was very helpful and hospitable. He provided us with a map of Florence, and a bottle of nice Chianti upon our arrival. The apartment was well stocked with many tourist books, kitchen supplies, bedding, and towels. The apartment itself was beautiful - it is clear that the owners have taken great pride in designing and decorating the place. It was also spotlessly clean. The location is perfect - you are within easy walking distance to nearly all of Florence's main tourist spots and many great restaurants. We walked everywhere! This apartment also welcomed our three children - which was great. Thanks for a fantastic experience!

Zanobi apartment. An ideally located apartment within walking distance of many places of interest and handy too for public transport. We were able to eat well locally every evening - a big bonus. Barbara's information was really helpful, and just in case you don't take it all in it is written down in the apartment - locations of supermarkets, restaurants, and useful phone numbers etc. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped.

just wanted to let you know that we had a very pleasant stay at the Villa Nieuwenkamp Apartment. It was very cozy, quiet and quaint. The surrounding small villiages were delightful and full of charater. We ran/walk the hike trails through Fiesole and enjoyed the view of Firenze from the hill top. Many thanks to Virginia for suggesting the Le Lance for dinner. The food and wine was spectacular. Just a fabulous place to stay. I only wish we had more time.

Maso apartment. We could not have chosen a better apartment. Paola was very helpful and a charming hostess. The balcony was the highlight with its absolutely stunning view, a wonderful place to come home to after a busy day. From sunrise to sunset we never tired of the ever changing light over Florence. The facilities in the apartment were excellent and we look forward to a return visit.

Antonino is a ice and confortable apartment. A family could stay in good conditions. So close to all main turist attracts of Florence(2 min of San Lorenzo Carhedral and Medici Capela&Palace and 5 min to Dome). On the other hand, at 1 min to Central Market (fruits, bread, vegetables, cheese) and few pizza stall.

The Zanobi is a very good apartment. It is nice, very clean and has everything you need. The air conditioning is working well, the building is safe and from there you can reach by foot every point of interest in Florence. It is close to the indoor market and a supermarket and the train/auto station.There is also a park nearby for those coming with kids. I stayed there 10 days toghether with my husband and 6 yrs old daughter. Mrs. Barbara is nice, helpful and a serious person.

We spent 12 nights in the Costa apartment and we absolutely loved it there. Nothing was missing and it was very nice to be in this large one room apartment (bathroom and utility room are of course separate) with the gorgeous florentine "cotto" floor , the stone wall, the beamed ceiling and the very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very beautiful, too. For some people the 5 minute walk uphill to get to the house might be a little much but it was no problem for us. The Costa San Giorgio is an amazing example of a real ancient Florentine street and the house is within walking distance from the Ponte Vecchio, Via Giucciardini, Palazzo Pitto, the Boboli Garden, the Natural History Museum "La Specola" and the whole historic centre in general. At the end of Via Guicciardini (Ponte Vecchio side) there is a very good baker's shop which also sells good Pizza. Several Trattorie and Ristoranti are in the area. Thanks to Barbara, Neil and David, the very nice (and lucky) owner!!

My friends and I stayed in the Ruote apartment from May 15-June 15 of 2006 while studying Int'l Law in Florence. After seeing some of the places my other classmates were staying, I realized we found one of the best apartments in the city. It is clean, well decorated, and air conditioned. Antonello was very accomodating and polite, and the apartment was a perfect spot to come back to after exploring Florence all day.

My sister and I stayed at the Piattellina apartment from May 23 - May 31, 2007 and loved it. We always felt safe in the area and the apartment. The apartment is well appointed and has beautiful architectual details. The outside garden area has a wall of Jasmine providing not only a beautiful back drop, but a delightful sweet smell that greets you each time you enter the apartment. Now every time I smell Jasmine I will think of Florence! The apartment is located steps away from the Brancacci chapel and Piazza Del Carmine, and is within walking distance of all the sites of Florence. Call and Internet centers and the market are close by. I highly recommend this apartment and look forward to coming back! Thanks Barbara!

The S. Antonino apartment in Florence was in an excellent location. The owners were especially gracious and accommodating. The price was affordable. The only thing that would have made it better would be A/C so you could close the windows at night and not hear the boisterous street noise in summer! Reply of the owner: The apt is air conditioned but usually we install the A/C machine on May/June. The hot you have found on this April is totally unusual and we weren't ready! Sorry!!

A little noisy in the evenings (college students gathered at San Spirito Church) right behind the apartment but that was only a small drawback.
